Acupuncture and Pregnancy

Acupuncture is one of the safest modalities during pregnancy when it is carried out by a qualified acupuncturist.

There is almost no side effect in acupuncture. This is an impressive bonus compared to traditional medications.

Morning sickness

Research suggests that acupuncture is effective in the treatment of morning sickness.

Morning sickness is also called pregnancy sickness. You may also hear 'emesis gravidarum' or hyper emesis gravidarum when it is severe.

When you have a traditional chinese medicine treatment for morning sickness, you will be surprised that other symptoms such as headache, dizziness, crying for no reason...  have also disapeared.

This is because the treatment is tailored to you and the prescription of acupuncture points used is designed to address most of the problems at the same time
